Fall 2009 Essay Contest
Consider the Gospel's Fall 2009 Essay Contest is now underway. Everyone who is eligible is encouraged to enter and participate! There is no fee to enter. All applicants must follow the rules to enter. Please see

Details:
Each participant will receive a book for participating. The winners will be chosen by three anonymous judges. The judges will examine the essays without knowing the authors. Decisions of the judges are final. Participants must submit essays no later than
November 30th, 2009. Make sure to include an
essay application.
First place winner: $50
Second place winner: $25
Third Place winner: $10
Essay Topics:
Participants must choose one of the following topics.
1. What is the significance of the Great Commision? How can we apply it directly to our lives?
2.How do we know what our purpose is in life? Can we find our answer in the bible?
3. Who is a "Chrisian" and what does it mean?
4. What is prayer and why should we pray for one another? How should we pray?
*All participants are strongly encouraged to privide biblical references to their ideas. If using a quote or idea from another source, please cite the source in the essay.
Requirements:
-All participants must be age 13-24 to be considered in this contest. (If you are not within this age range, you are still welcome to send in an essay and it might be published!)
-Their is no required length for submissions. However, a length of 200-600 words is recommended.
-Winning essays will be posted on this website along with a short biography of the author.
